Nick Tredrea

Nicholas is from New Zealand, and trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where he danced the works of Xioaxiong Zhang, Nacho Duato and Leigh Warren. Upon graduation, he became and apprentice dancer with Sydney Dance Company, where he understudied and performed the work of Rafael Bonachela. He then received a professional contract with Leigh Warren and Dancers, with whom he performed extensively, including Philip Glass’ six hour opera, Einstein on the Beach, in Adelaide. Nicholas has also worked with Opera Australia, with seasons at the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour. After receiving a scholarship for international artistic development, he completed a year of training at Rambert School for Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, and has since worked as a freelance dance artist.

Nichola joined DeNada for the creation and tour of TORO: Beauty and the Bull.
